Fairdale Bikes // Sam Carlson’s Titanium Spaceship

Our friend Sam Carlson is truly one of our people, coming from BMX roots and evolving into other forms of cycling while still riding bmx semi-regularly. Essentially the root of how Fairdale became it’s own brand. We’ve featured one of Sam’s road builds on here before(click through to see), and we’ve been more than stoked to see his love for cycling evolve and take him new places. This titanium Spaceship is so damn sick, and I’d love to get my hands on one!

Here’s some words and details from Sam about his new ride:

I honestly didn’t think I’d build a ti bike until i was 40… but here we are. This thing rides amazing. Having both a Goodship and Spaceship at home, I get to pick apart the ride qualities of both, and they are light years away from each other (lol) You can’t feel any vibrations in the road and I’ve shed about a pound making climbing the surrounding LA mountain ranges just a little easier. It kind of feels like you’re floating about the concrete. It really is a great upgrade for someone who already has a Goodship complete or just wants to swap parts over from their existing bike. But either way, stop reading this and go ride your own bike.
