When JP asked my to contribute to No Life Like This I jumped on the opportunity. Arizona is home of some great riding and I have lots of pride in my home State. I felt this was a great time to showcase some of the better riding.
Our chief tech Mike Morross (Mike the Bike) arranged a ride on Valentine’s Day to Canyon Lake. Mike, my Dad- Homay, and I had a great day on the bike. Hope you enjoy the shots.
Mike showed up in a very festive red to celebrate Valentine’s Day with the Farsi’s.
This is the stuff I like to see.
One great thing about living in Arizona is the weather. Notice the short-sleeves in the middle of February.
Shot from Canyon Lake.
Homay rocking his new favorite jersey. The LaFleur kit from State Bicycle Co.
Mike and Homay round the bend.
All smiles.
That’s me.
My ride. The Vitesse 400.
There is a little general store at the end of the road.
Me and my Dad. This photo set is a tribute to his guidance. When I was younger he exposed me and my brother to the sport of cycling. I remember growing up and watching the grand tours during the Summer nights with him. We were lucky enough to travel to see the Tour De France when I was in high school. At the time, I didn’t appreciate it as much as I probably should have but those experiences have shaped who I am today. I am now immersed in the cycling industry and most of my leisure time is spent riding as well. I have met some of my best friends through cycling and had some amazing experiences along the way. I really owe it all to my Dad.
