True Love: Volume 4 // A study in taste, love, and the art of the sleeper

Our friends in Portland have such a very specific taste in track bike culture, that it’s hard to not appreciate it if you know what you’re looking at. If you don’t know track bikes or the culture, you’d probably walk right by one of these builds.

Portland based Christian Schultz has had some of the chillest sleeper track bikes over the years, bikes we’ve lusted and drooled over stylistically, and this Stratos is no exception. All the little details add up. Everything from the well worn grip-less MTB flat bars with the spurcycle bell, the 140mm Nitto Pearl stem,  the Selle Italia SLR stripped down to the plastic, the classic carbon ATAC’s, and the timeless low-flange Phil’s laced to polished box rims, this build is a simple beauty.
